Based on magnetic field technology, two marker tools bonded close to the occlusion on the teeth of the opposite halves of the jaw record the movements. This is done in all 3 translational and 3 rotational directions of movement with time reference, without affecting the dynamic occlusion.

The Freecorder®BlueFox is an opto-electronic registration device for recording patient-specific jaw movements and the individual bite position. Both this movement and position data can be integrated into the workflow – analog or digital – in XML format.

The zebris jaw registration system JMAnalyser records all degrees of freedom of movement of the lower jaw quickly, contact-free and precisely. Discoordination and movement limitations as well as a neuromuscular jaw relationship can be determined during functional analysis examinations.
